In the wake of the Coronavirus mandates, we are asking for your help as patrons and music lovers! PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS
+ What are your hours?
SERVING BRUNCH SAT AND SUN 11 AM - 4 PM
- FOOD ALSO SERVED DURING ALL SHOWS UNTIL 11PM OR UNTIL LAST BAND FINISHES
- DOORS OPEN GENERALLY ONE HOUR BEFORE MUSIC STARTS. PLEASE CHECK OUR CALENDAR FOR SHOWTIMES.
+ Are minors allowed to shows?
Due to an arrangement with our insurance provider and in accordance with Missouri liquor laws we allow minors 18 and over with proper ID. Under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian. State issued ID is required for customers 18+. There is a $2 fee for minors to help fray the cost of utilities and supplies.
+ When do shows start?
This depends on the show, style of entertainment, the number of opening acts, and what else is happening at recordBar that night. We list the time that the doors will open. This too is also subject to change. Rock'n'roll isn't work or school. It breathes. If you arrive and the doors aren't open yet, we have plenty of neighboring businesses that would love to serve you some food or drink.
+ Where can I get tickets to recordBar shows?
Tickets can be purchased online at therecordbar.com or in-person at the recordBar for most shows. We also work with some of the area’s best promoters and you may purchase tickets from them the links provided on our calendar. For AEG Live promoted shows you may purchase tickets free of service charge at their box office which is located at The Midland Theater.
Currently, we also have tickets in house for Up To Eleven and Mammoth Live promoted shows. Inquire with the front door person about what we have in stock.
+ Can I pick up my tickets before the show?
If you purchased tickets online and did not choose for tickets to be mailed to you there are NO physical tickets. Your name will be on a list at will call when you arrive.
+ What if I need to change the name on my ticket because I cannot attend and I want to give them to a friend
You will need to contact the ticket provider to initiate name changes. This guarantees that ticket holder names are not wrongfully switched. This information will be found at the point of sale; either Ticketfly, AXS or Ticketmaster depending on the show.
+ Do you have a lost and found?
Items that are found by our staff after a show are kept safe in our office. You can call us at 816-753-5207 during business hours to inquire about recovered items. Please remember, we are not responsible for items lost or stolen at recordBar. If it is valuable to you, it is probably safer at home or in your car.
+ Are you handicap accessible?
Our venue is wheelchair accessible. All entryways and bathroom are one level. If you've purchased a VIP ticket to mezzanine level, a staff member can help you with elevator access to that level.
+ Where do I park?
Our venue does not have a dedicated parking lot. There are many public parking spots (see map below). Also, street parking is plenty around the venue. We also suggest parking in the River Market or at Union Station and taking the free street car. We are two short blocks off of the 16th & Main (PAC) stop.
