COVID-19 and LIVE MUSIC - We Need Your Help

Kansas City, we love you and we're missing you hard. For the time being, recordBar is closed. We’re practicing social distancing, and hope you do too. The more action we take now, the sooner we can all get back to our lives, hopefully, happier, healthier, and with more live music than before! As shows are postponed or canceled, the website will be updated to reflect. Follow our calendar, emails, and socials for reschedule dates.

Many of our staff are out of jobs. Please support our recordBar and miniBar family with a donation. This money will go directly to security, bar, technical, and kitchen staff. We are asking that our ticketing partner Eventbrite donate all fees.

It’s not just our staff who need your help. The bills are still coming in, but our revenue has stopped. Please support recordBar by purchasing some of our great merchandise!

One last ask: If you have tickets to a canceled or postponed show, please consider NOT requesting a refund. All purchased tickets will be valid for rescheduled dates and if the show is outright canceled, we really could use the revenue. We understand this is a lot to ask, but we greatly appreciate your consideration.

We’re hopeful federal, state, and local aid packages will kick in at some point. Until then, we’ll keep trying to find ways for you to SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC! (keep an eye out for our live streams on Facebook)

Kansas City Proud!

P.S. Thanks to Nashville's Exit/Inn for inspiring this idea.
