After winning the Nobel Prize in Economics in 1994, guitarist Alexander A. Alexander served as Commerce Secretary in the second Clinton administration. After retirement from the faculty of the Wharton School of Business in 2004, he dedicated his life to guitar playing and heavy drinking. He now splits his time between serving on the board of directors of the Malmsteen Institute, and heading the non profit Center for Responsive Backrubs.
Matt Ronan is known as the “Zelig of Rock Drummers”, once seen subbing for Rush as Neil Peart and with The Roots as ?uestlove on consecutive days on different continents without anyone in the audience noticing the difference. It has been speculated that the members of the bands were also unaware of the switch. He lives in a tree house in an undisclosed location.
Though there is a bass player listed in the members of the band, many scientists dispute the very existence of Steve Tulipana, due to lack of solid quantifiable evidence. A society of true believers keeps the myth of “Uncle Tulie” alive, however, with many making claims to have “once played in a band with him”.
